Girls’Day at MIPA

  • Mipa News, Mipa News

Six girls used this year's Girls'Day on 25 April to find out more about the world of paints and coatings at MIPA SE in Essenbach.

After a round of introductions, the company was first presented in detail during a tour of the plant and all questions relating to internships and apprenticeships were answered. At various practical stations, the girls then experienced how interesting technical professions can be. In the spraying booth, the participants were able to paint car shapes in effect colours as desired. In addition, various pattern effects were created with the help of a Mipa car refinishing specialist. In order to introduce the profession of industrial mechanic, the participants milled and drilled their own personalised key rings. The girls were then allowed to "assemble" an extension cable in the industrial electrics department.

After a long, eventful day, the participants went home with their self-designed mementos and expressed their enthusiasm about the activity day at MIPA SE.
