For more than 20 years, the trade show Automechanika in Frankfort/Germany is one of the most important fixed dates in the trade fair schedule of MIPA SE. Mipa’s presence lived up to this status also this year and built on the successful participations in the past. Customer relations were maintained and new contacts both national as well as international have been established.
With a booth of more than 220 sq. m, MIPA SE had the largest stand of a manufacturer of car refinishing paints at the Automechanika 2016. Mipa presented together with the brand MP and Feycolor GmbH belonging to the Group numerous novelties. This allowed visitors to explore the whole range of car refinishing products.
Beside the new clearcoats Mipa 2K-HS Klarlack CC 9 and Mipa 2K-Express Klarlack CX 4, Mipa put the focus on the range extension of the water-based tinter system by 13 new tinters. These tinters became necessary to refinish increasingly complex automotive colours of OEM.
A wall of samples allowed the visitors to get a visual idea of the possibilities the new concentrated pigments offer also with regard to the tuning sector.
Mipa customers had also the opportunity to glance at the future version of the mixing software MipaMix, which will be available in 2017, and at the related possibilities for a professional colour matching with the spectrophotometer Mipa SSP. Beside the additional program components such as the significantly expanded storage and user management, the software provides an enhanced colour display. This leads to an easier comparison of search results of the spectrophotometer with formulations of the database. Furthermore, the direct colour adjustments as well as the automatic formulation are the key components of the software.
At its stand, Mipa welcomed a large number of trade visitors with Mipa Protector - a textured and especially scratch- and shock-resistant coating for pick-up beds, a set for headlight repair, novelties in the sectors of truck, industry and carbon coatings as well as the extended MP Non-Paint assortment and got customers excited about these latest products.
"We succeeded in achieving the objectives of our trade show. We welcomed not only a majority of our international trading partners but established also a lot of new contacts in Frankfort. Beyond that this trade gave us the opportunity to present our products and innovations to a large number of paint shop owners”, Mr. Markus Fritzsche, chairman of MIPA SE, said.
