The Coronavirus pandemic is currently keeping all of Europe in suspense. The health and protection of employees, customers and suppliers is the top priority for MIPA SE. For this reason, we have immediately initiated further measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

MIPA remains fully deliverable
The health protection of our employees while at the same time continuously maintaining our business operations is naturally the main objective of MIPA SE and all companies of the Mipa Group.

Our customers can therefore assume that the Mipa Group is fully capable of delivering at the present time.

Measures to protect employees, customers and suppliers
Due to the latest developments regarding the spread of COVID-19, we are taking important precautions in regards to the access of suppliers and visitors to all Mipa Group sites. Except for repairs and construction work that cannot be postponed, all visits by third parties are cancelled. Customer trainings and visits of representatives are called off and job interviews will only take place when very urgent.

Strong restriction of all personal contacts
In order to protect the employees of MIPA SE, as far as possible departments have been divided into groups, each of which have no direct contact to each other. In numerous other departments, we also work with different concepts, such as new alternating shift systems, in order to reduce the risk of infection and to make our units fail-safe even in the event of an official quarantine order. Additional break rooms have been set up to reduce personal contact between departments.

Mobile working will also be expanded and used as far as possible. In addition, we ensure that all contact persons remain available for our customers and suppliers.

Business trips abroad are strictly prohibited and domestic business trips are only allowed in extremely urgent cases and in any case without overnight stays.

All Mipa employees are required to keep personal contacts to a minimum and to observe extended distance regulations.

Hygiene measures intensified
The extensive hygiene precautions of MIPA SE include the introduction of additional cleaning procedures and the daily disinfection of all door handles and handrails. All employees are being informed about precautionary measures - such as frequent hand washing for at least 20 seconds or avoiding touching the face. MIPA SE also provides sufficient disinfectants in every department.

With these measures, we are contributing to protecting the workforce, breaking chains of infection and containing the spread of the pandemic. MIPA SE follows the guidelines and recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Robert Koch Institute, the German government and local authorities.

The Mipa Management is constantly monitoring the situation and will take further action if necessary. Because in these times of great uncertainty, we at MIPA agree: The safety and well-being of our families, colleagues, customers and global partners are our top priority.
