Autopromotec: MIPA focuses on efficiency and automation

  • Mipa News

The automotive refinishing industry is undergoing a transformation: automation, robotics and artificial intelligence are increasingly becoming integral parts of the paint application process. At Autopromotec in Bologna, MIPA is showcasing how these technologies can be practically applied to deliver greater precision and efficiency.

At the center of the booth is the concept of Smart Mixing, with the presentation of new fully and semi-automatic mixing machines. These systems ensure reproducible results with maximum precision, leading to cost and time savings in bodyshops. When combined with modern colour matching solutions such as the MA 5C photospectrometer and the MipaMix Elite formula software, a new level of process reliability is achieved. The MA 5C, a state-of-the-art multi-angle colour measurement device with an integrated camera, captures colour and texture data in a single step – quickly, accurately and user-friendly. Visitors can experience firsthand how this technology simplifies and improves colour matching.

This year’s exhibition also spotlights innovative, sustainable product solutions. MIPA is introducing innovative putties, fillers and clearcoats based on renewable raw materials such as cork flour, camphene or straw. These products significantly reduce CO₂ emissions – without compromising on quality or workability.

MIPA’s presence at the trade fair is rounded off by the presentation of the full range of products from the MP Non-Paints brand. These items are specially designed to work in harmony with Mipa car refinishing paints, offering users the highest level of process reliability and quality. With this, MIPA offers visitors a comprehensive insight into professional vehicle refinishing.
