Mipa Carbon System

Carbon is just as popular as a lightweight material for reducing fuel consumption in vehicle construction as a modern design element on surfaces. However, to preserve the surface permanently, suitable protective coatings are required to improve the low UV stability of carbon fibres.

MIPA offers various transparent coating products for carbon surfaces, which protect and, thanks to their transparency, enhance and highlight the surfaces.

Mipa 2K-HS-Carbonic-Klarlack

High gloss, VOC-compliant 2K acrylic clearcoat to protect particularly sensitive substrates from UV.
Good filling properties, safe processing and fast drying despite low energy consumption (25 minutes at 40 °C) ensure easy and durable finishing of the coated surfaces.
